Snow cover

What is the snow cover like post storm this week? We will be travelling in from Kitchener and walk out.
The power auger is tough to pull with hut and sled in deep snow do thinking of using my hand auger, is the ice over 12” now? If lthe snow is wind blown and ice is bare its much easier.

If your going to Huff's, it was 8 to 4 inches Monday. Hay Bay should be a bit thicker. Don't know about the snow. It was real windy Wednesday so hopefully it blew off some.

in the Trenton area it is like swiss cheese, bare ice patches and snow drifts. When I came off the ice this morning there was an inch of water on the bare spots and slush under the drifts. You can zig zag your way around the deeper drifts. or maybe they will be frozen enough to walk on by Saturday morning.

Any other reports on how the snow is and getting to the spots? Debating on heading out tomorrow and hoping it's packed down? Probably out to Huffs or the bay.

Pt Anne was lots of bare ice with lots of hard packed drifts

Mark m the snow wasn’t terrible at the reach definitely is some but not hard to pull the sled across. I’m hand augering holes no problem

Dan, we are gonna walk out at Pt Ann.. you said there's lotsa bare spots and hard packed drifts, is that at the "WEST" end of pt ann, or the boat launch "EAST"
