Try #3 coming Wednesday to try and make it out to BOQ... Mother Nature interupted my previous plans to make it out there.
Wednesday looks ok, and I think we're set to go! Not sure where though...

Any recommendations what area to try out or to avoid? Was thinking Pointe Ann, and Huffs as a 2nd option.
How is the narrow area west of Point Anna, is that called the Narrows? Lot's of current i believe..

any tips, advice, pointers, headers..anything, is appreciated, thx all!
Btw, if anyone wants to team up and join, give me a shout.

Was at Huff's yesterday. Tons of guy's out. Ice is good to about 1/2 way out. Not sure after that. ice was good for walking. The ramp leading to the ice was very slippery. Cleats for getting on the ice would be good.
Looked like the fishing was slow. We picked up one three pounder around 5:00 and that was it. Lots of guy's fishing deep. We stayed shallow.
Nice day out.

Well how was Thompson's last night? Coming up for the weekend with a buddy or two and trying to find solid ice, without thousands of tiny perch. So hoping for your update. Tks.
