Hey all, long time lingerer, first time poster

I’ve lived in Quinte for 20 years, but this has been my first winter on the hard water. I’ve had a hard time getting on to fish, until yesterday.

Was set up off of Pointe Anne, in about 17’ of water, jogging at 14’. Suddenly a large mark appeared 4 feet up, and faster than I could blink, it dove down onto my lure and the game was on. After a few minutes of figuring out how to get it up the hole, landed it. Had no scale, but it had to be at least 12lbs. Released to spread those genes.

I may just have to call into work this week to try to get one more session in!

I reckon that would turn me a first time poster rather quickly. Nicely done.

Hey nice fish. A great way to end the season even if you don't make it back out

Sorry Sesh, can't resist!

We all know it's tough to get that 'Dorsal Fin'(?) straight up for a real good shot, right?

You aren't really holding that thang up with your Beard, are ya?~

Thanks everyone! I’ll be a hard water angler for life after that one

And Woody, my beard had no part in it! I guess this one loves the camera

Apologies again Sesh, the Devil made us do it.

Thanks for taking it in stride!!

Reminded us of a photo our Ace Reporter took during the Years we ran a small town weekly paper. It was Cancer Prevention Week, and our Guy took a shot with the main presenter prominently holding a Banner in one hand, and a freak'n CIGARETTE in the other!~
