Unfortunately I won't be on the water opening weekend due to work however I will still have my eye on the leaderboard for the Kiwanis Walleye World. For those looking for tickets here's the link.
https://www.kiwaniswalleyeworld.com
Also if you're considering this weekend and need accommodations start looking now as most places are close to fully booked. The navigation menu on this page at the top will help you find places to stay.

Dan,

That's too bad you're going to miss the opener.

Always time to go after the big weekend.

I think I would rather work this weekend than be out in the gong show !!
Make the $$.... Plenty of time to go after when it quiets down.
I'm off the Saturday but work the Sunday myself.

The opener is not as crazy with boats like in the 90's, we fish and hardly see anyone. We don't fish the usual spots.

No tickets at the Quinte RV Show, they didn't show for their booth - guess they had no hats.

The construction in Centennial Park is going to limit trailer and boat trailer parking unless it is completed by opener. Sure wish the City would upgrade the boat ramps, they are getting bad. The steep drop off the concrete is going to cause a serious incident, someone is going to catch there trailer on it coming out.

Is the ramp across the river good? I believe it’s a concrete slip steep and deep but can’t be certain as I’ve never used it...??

I see they have added prizes to top 4 fish every couple of hours throughout the tournament.
