Hi folks.
Hoping to be down to Hay Bay Monday.
I have a 21' Mako CC. I am wondering which launch on the bay has the deepest drop off.
I might have my slide-in camper with me so was thinking of possibly staying at Pickeral Park.
I stayed there with buddies about 20 years ago when we used to fish the area.
I remember them having a nice launch but am wondering how water levels will affect launching and recovery.
Thanks for any thoughts you can provide.
Mitch.

The Lau ch at pickerel park will work for you but might need hipwaiters with the high water levels. Picton harbour is a good launch and about a 20 minute drive but does not include the time required to crossover to Picton by ferry so realistically an hour drive.

Thanks Dan.
I have an extended tongue on my trailer and a 3' extension I can put in as well.
Hoping to get my outboard started today and then I can start making some serious plans.
Have to start with a pass from The Boss.
Hopefully fishing is great for everyone this weekend.
Looking forward to getting out.
We both had health issues last year and didn't fish until we snuck down to Florida in November.
Good fishing.
Thanks again.
Mitch.

The ramp at Shermans is good and deep, we launched there on Sunday and were able to back my 21.5 footer well back into the water to cover the motor to start and without getting the truck up to the doors with water.

The dock wasn't in on Sunday, it can help.

Lotsa Luck - Hope you make it down to Hay Bay

Thanks for the tips.
Hopefully my son and nephew are going to make it too.
Mitch.
Might have to meet up to grab some of your spinners.

Launch at the old church will require rubber boots to make it to the dock.

Man, you gotta feel for the Tournament Committee.

How they're gonna manage to run this year's Event is beyond us, EVEN with a Miracle.

And neither Trenton or Belleville have done ANYTHING to assist at this stage.

Can you spel "Clusterflop"??
