I'm going to read that.
When I first moved to the area in 78 there were two brother's, Rock and Howard Hawley. They were probably in their upper 60's and had been commercial fisher men.
They talked about fishing, probably in the 30's. They said they use to spear sturgeon in the mouth of the Napanee River. They still had the old fish shack with a cleaning table complete with a treadle operated clamp for holding the fish.
They said there was also a time when the Bay was dead.
Looking forward to reading more about that. I'm going to hit the library too. Also saving for fishing stuff.
Enjoy the xi5.
Thanks
