New member, time to share some bits. So, new to posting. We fished the flats yesterday morning for 4 hours. Boated 9 pickerel, 7 came home. Keepers ranged 17 inches to 22 inches. 8 feet of water along the north side, westward from the municipal launch at the north east corner of Hay Bay. Nets around us were getting wet too. Bite seems to have started. :)

Nice catch, I tried Mohwak Bay and the mouth yesterday morning and managed one small walleye and a pike...All seemed quiet with the other boats in the area as well ...

The flats is the area at the north east end of hay bay out front of little Creek. It's primarily a early season bite there then trails off as the fish move out
