Fished in Long Reach Saturday AM from 0900 -1200, starting on the west high shore across from the mouth of Hay Bay. Put out the line with the CC Shad ( according to Dan E.) and withing ten mins, the board went back with a fish. Netted the fish, 17.5inches - one for the table.

Trolled all the way to Hickory Lane without another touch. Three charters running around and a bunch of Bass boats fishing for walleyes.

Back up and started again, marking lots of fish high and low, lots in Grandfathers Cove. Pulled the planer boiard in and got the Uzick out, made one pass and had a vicious strike, Fish ON!!!

Pulled hard and thought it might a good size, it was a 29 inch northern, which is approx 7lbs.

Back to Camp.

Headed out Monday AM to try to find some fish for the Grandsons coming on the weekend. Trolled near Ram Island in 7 - 9 feet. Trolled from 0900 til 1130 with some success, landed a bunch of perch, three sunfish and went 8 walleyes for 9 on strikes. Three keepers (over 15"). All fish hit the Chartruese Uzick. Have a good idea I found the fish - hope they stay around for next Saturday.
