Good afternoon gentlemen.
Coming to boq to stay at merlands
for a couple days on Monday and never had a lot of luck
fishing for walleye. Any advice on what to use or areas to start would be greatly appreciated. You guys are the most informative walleye guys on the board and any help for a newbie would be awesome thanks mike

Trolling harnesses up high in the water Colombia as well as bottom bouncers. Casting crankbaits and jerkbaits near the weeds and also tossing bucktail jigs.

These and some homemade harnesses and spinner rigs that are working well for me. The 3rd pic is a harness with a slow death hook. All of the spinnerbaits I fish with 30 pound braid that has a bottom bouncer and then a 4- 6 foot 15 pound fluorocarbon tippet type leader.
