Just wondering if anyone can update me on whether both the launches at Wellington are still closed. Don't want to waste 40 min driving there if they are still closed.

I went there last weekend and both launches on the town side and beach side were under water. I can't imagine that it got much better this week.

Were the barriers still across?

On the town side they were up. On the beach side there were no barriers but the water was all in the parking lot. I guess you could launch if you brought some hip waders or shorts with you and maybe had a little tin boat or something.

We had been launching my 20' Regal there as of last Friday, but they had put barriers up. Thanks for the update.

Barriers are still up on both sides. They blocked the road on the beach side. Last night one barrier was gone on the North side. Barriers are not heavy but yesterday there was cars parked in front of beach side barrier.

The other barrier is back up today on the town side too. Everyone continued using launches in 2017.

With any luck the kids won't throw the barriers in the lake.Heard one boat hit a picnic table in the North Channel.
