Quinte Fishing

Finally got out this morning. Started at Trenton arena launch(still needed shorts & crocs)at 7:20. It was a trolling day so started at the mouth with only a couple of small Silver Bass interested in playing. Moved to Onderdonk point at 9:30 and quickly picked our 1st walleye a 20” on a Rapala #11 Husky Jerk clown. 15 minutes later number 2 on the same lure. Got quiet so we moved across the Bay to in front of the Base. Picked up some beauty Bass for a quick photo and then release. Finally tally 2 walleye,2 large mouth,2 smallies,2 Silver Bass. Noah would have been proud.

Great to hear some Fish are as far West as Onderdonk. Finally some action in this Area.

Now all that's needed is the water level to drop about TWO FEET, and things will be good to go...

Unfortunately,it doesn't look like water levels are going to recede anytime soon. High water in the rest of the lakes will keep levels high.
Last I saw forecast was 4" in the next month.
Keep those shorts,boots and waders handy.
