We will be on the BOQ come next Friday. Our plan is to launch at the Glenora Ferry. Cottage we are renting is on the next bay over on from the Glenora Ferry Launch. Not ever being on the BOQ, Is the Glenora Launch a reasonable launch ( launch a 24 and 16 ft boats) Secondly if it is a good launch and knowing the water levels are high... are the side docks under water?? If this is not a good launch then is it possible I could be guided to a different launch.

The water levels are past the 2017 levels. I have a cottage just east of the ferry and no shore line at all. The docks will still be under water and it's up, way up!!! bring waders. Perhaps others will weigh in on other launches!

If you need a dock then Picton Harbour is probably the closest. I'd check ahead pictonmarina@pecounty.on.ca, Monday-Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm, call 613.476.2148 ext. 4026 / Evenings and Sundays, call 613.476.6505.

Check on parking, if you need it. I think it can be pretty skinny over there at times.

I was at Napanee last night and everything is still submerged. Doesn't look like the lake has receded yet.

I was at the Glenora Launch on Monday and it is flooded, the dock is under two feet of water and the ramp is really submerged.

Launching a big boat shouldn't have any problems, make sure your lines are attached.

By the sounds of it... launching is not going to be the issue. Maybe re-loading the boat might be an issue as to guiding them on. Looks like water shoes will in order...

I launched and retrieved a 22.5’ boat 2 weekends ago, decent length ropes and you’ll have no issues
