Was trying to figure out what the Lake Trout were eating. I think I settled on Emerald Shiner. Found this site with pretty good pictures and information.

Northern Lakers. I was marking huge clouds of I think, bait fish. The Lakers were stuffed with small silver fish.

I've never seen marks like this. The hard bottom was 130ft, the graph was showing solid masses up to 60ft. On the DI, the masses looked like big fluffy clouds.

I'm thinking the masses were bait fish. Anyone seen that before?

I have marked massive balls or clouds of baitfish like that before, usually with a few big fish hanging around the edges
