The Navionics maps give a nice outline but a number of humps and under water shoals are available to discover. There are markers on most issue areas.
Take some time to tour around and enjoy the scenery.
As for great lake trout areas, most of the lake have areas that hold good numbers.
Personally I find it more productive to jig sharp ridges. The water is so clear that tossing a spoon and letting it flutter down is very productive at times. If you think that the jig or spoon stopped early, st the hook.
One note is that the lakers are valued and protected by locals and ministry alike.
Enjoy your time on a gorgeous lake

Camping at the provincial park. It’s a large park. Lots of trees. Good water access
