Up til the 1st, the fishing was SLOW..... I headed out on Canada Day to look around and was able to find three, two released and the 22 incher for the table.
PerfectlyPat & I headed out to explore on July 3rd, another nice HOT day and within 20 seconds of her putting the Uzick Spinner down, she thought she had weeds but they fought back and here's what she landed - another nice 22 incher. The only fish of the day.
Friday rolled around and I aasked my neighbour Jerry to join me as we headed to the Kingscourt weed bed. We weren't there long and Jerry had a fish, we trolled back and forth and in the next two and a half hours, we hit ten fish, released three, lost at the net and retained fish for a fish fry for Jerry's visitors. A real good day.
The Uzick Spinner is killing em........
Some people hit some fish on the weekend, I didn't go out as there was cleanup on the boats canvas to do.
Back to Hay Bay tomorrow and awaiting Superdave coming on Sunday to try his luck.
