Does anyone know of any good spots to catch largemouth or smallmouth bass from the shore in or near Belleville. (5km radius)
All my usual spots like Meyers pier and the small bay near the water treatment plant have either been fished out or flooded this year.
Thanks.

I shore fish a lot around Belleville - obviously some spots are better than others but honestly...you can fish almost any shoreline in Belleville and find some bass. I used to walk up and down the waterfront trail and catch them pretty much anywhere. And all around zwicks and west of there if you can find some property to fish off of you can catch them.

thanks for the advice.
I went out yesterday at the east side of Zwicks park.
Score a 1.9lb largemouth
and hablover, by waterfront trail you mean the trail that run along the east bank of the moira river, correct?

The trail all along from myers pier to herchimer.
And with the water levels so high - a lot of it is great bass fishing.
