Stayed and fished the area for an hour and a half, marked all sorts of fish in different size ranges but this was the only one boated and CPR'ed. Packed up and went home so that I could hit another water for musky. Swapped the gear out headed east, fished for about 1.5 hours. Catching a musky not in the cards today.

I know a lot of people will switch to cranks or jig and minnows at this time of year but this one and a few others lately were caught on 1/8 and 1/4 ounce jigs with worms. A strong believer in the Northland Fireball style short wide gap hook jig started using them a year ago and I have never looked back.(they are my newer go to). Find the fish now drag and drop.

This was in at 19 ft, most fish were marked at 14-17 ft. This was jigged at the boat directly under the transducer area and I watched as it rose out of a bowl below the other fish. Drifted with the school after finding them.
