Been 2x for a week each. Was incredible. I went with Jim Lyon also on the board here. Decent little town with amazing fishing.

boat or hardwater? last time the ice was decent 4 years ago or so I went for perch, 2 guys, 250 fish, non stop actions 9 a.m to 2 p.m. 100 were 10+ inches with plenty of 13s and a few 14s. best perch trip ever. Just hoping for a cold winter.

From Kingston it is a 9 hour drive, as mentioned the ice set up is pretty iffy, Walleye Central will give you all the info you need, Where are you going to sleep ( if any) The Travelodge right in town is OK for 1 or 2 nights.

Hi Guys:

We lived on the corner of Lake Erie and Detroit River for 15 years back in the 80s, and know the area around Lake Erie fairly well.

Hard to believe - try impossible - to think there'd be hard water there at this time of year. Closer to Christmas MAYBE.

Our opinion only - long drive for nothing.
