That is a great source of Great Lake News, and when you begin digging into things closer to Quinte, like St Lawrence, there is a LOT of talk in Washington and Albany about it. There appears to be new IJC membership and they appear to be balking against the claims of the people of the St Lawrence about the high levels in the spring.

Interestingly is the fact that the laws passed a long time ago, make it impossible to launch any type of law suit against the IJC.

This is a on-going discussion.

Youtube has the meeting that was held in trenton a month or so ago,, its on water levels and how the IJC is responsible for them. Its pretty informative and interesting. The video is called "repeal plan 2014". Its clear that the water levels next spring are going to be worse than the last two floods if the IJC doesnt let water out, and if I remember correctly the date to realease water to prevent flooding is mid Dec. As far as I know they have not increased out flows, so next spring levels are going to be a minimum of a foot higher than last year.
