Took a drive to Deseronto today. Saw a few people in front of the boat launch and 6 huts by telegraph narrows. Not sure about Huffs. Ice looks good.

There are Huts all over the place up at the North end of The Bay.

Several VERY near The Bay Bridge!

Game on, Guys!

No idea if any Wallies are being caught.

Rgds, Wordpecker.

Whoa! Just like that... pfffft! Safe Ice GONE!

What a crazy December! Hope you guys enjoyed your brief outings IF you did get out.

As of today, there's not a single Fish Person in view from The Bay Bridge.

NOT safe any longer Folks. Maybe won't see you out there until January now.

Rgds, Wordpecker

I was at Des on Saturday....just myself and another fellow met at launch at sun up... Was only the two of us out there until mid afternoon, then a few others showed up for evening bite.

Ice was bare minimum for me! 2.5" to 3 of black at most... outside temps were good for the day....

lost one fish early in the morning shortly after setting up... saw a few more on the camera throughout the day, but no takers

Went to onderdonks on Sunday and had about 5 1/2 inches of black ice. Managed to land two and lost one at the hole
