Quinte Fishing

Got out on Big Bay this weekend for a fish. Went off Point Anne and drilled 3 holes. Fish are very scattered and very finicky. went straight out to the main channel first and only marked 1 fish. Moved over to Hungry bay and marked one other. Ended up over at Trident near dark and started marking many fish. Seen a fish come in every 5-10 mins for a sniff, but very finicky, couldn't get any takers before they swam off. Finally picked up one 3 lbs and lost another. Packed it in around 7pm, but still seen fish coming in to take a look.

Lots of ice out there, 8" in most spots all the way across to big island. Hopefully the fishing picks up soon. Talked to some gentlemen off Herchimer who just came in and they didn't pick up anything.
