 Post subject: Hay Bay - fished hard

Well, the 6 of us fished the opening weekend in Hay Bay. We hit all the locations, Shermans Pt, ram Island, The bay, Thompsons Pt. We trolled, drifted, tossed stick baits. We ended up with 9 walleye (7 in the 15 inch range, 1 @ 18 inches and 1 @ 23 inches. Lost 2 others at the boat. No color worked better. Fish were caught on worm harnesses with orange/white, yellow, green, and the biggest walleye an a 5lb pike was caught on a worm harness with oversize colorado blades. All were caught trolling a 1 mph. The water temp was still cold. We caught 2 largemouths over 2.5 lbs. We put them back and hope to meet up again in 6 weeks. We stayed a Dads (Mark) trailer at Bayview.

It was a great weekend Dave,

I'll see you the last week in June. I'm bringing the family up for 5 days.

Has this week been any better?
