The Provincial and National Parks are closed. The Closed Outdoor Amenities order applies to public and private properties. I can't envision how a private campground would operate with no picnic benches, shelters, pool, game courts, boat launches, etc.. ATV trails would be closed too.

Seeing as how fishers will do anything to get out there, I can envision the government postponing the opening of walleye, pike and maybe trout, just to keep everyone at home. Have to wait and see how bad things get.

If they do, it's an insignificant price to pay to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The sooner we beat it the sooner we can all get out.

"As COVID-19 continues to quickly evolve, we want to ensure public safety and the well-being of our visitors and staff in Ontario's provincial parks. In order to assist the province with its efforts to keep Ontarians safe during this time, all provincial parks will be closed to the public from March 19, 2020 until April 30, 2020. This includes car camping, backcountry camping, roofed accommodations, day use opportunities and all public buildings.

I am guessing Finkles falls under Napanee

Finkle's is Loyalist but the Provincal closure closes all launches.
We have to stop figuring a way to skirt the closures and just stay home. It sucks but that's where we're at.
The fish will be there, we might not be.

Crazy to think you're allowed to buy fishing lures but not allowed to use them. I don't understand this approach where people are allowed to follow protocols for work(deemed essential) yet these same protocols of social distancing cant be followed by people not working. People allowed to work seem to be pretty critical of people leaving there houses while following rules. If they are closing ramps they should also close ice cream factories and chips and other non essential food we all like but don't need. This stuff is becoming very slippery fast with the do's and don'ts.

Finkles should still be open right though?
I haven't read anything about provincial closure of boat launches. And Finkles isn't Napanee...

I know people have a different view of whether we should be fishing or not...but I still don't see the harm in going out with a person I hang out with all the time, and being isolated in a boat...

If Finkles is still open and I don't see any good sources saying that it's closed, I'm still heading out there then.

On the spoonpullers site there are many guys posting about various ramps in gta that are blocked off now. Kingston hasn’t yet but I expect they will by tomorrow.

Seen at least a half dozen boats go by today, can't say I blame them if they're not affecting anyone else.
