Are any bait shops open in the area ? Looking for some Pinhead Shiners....want to do a little Crappie fishing. Somebody in the Kingston/Napanee area perhaps ? I'm up Verona/Sharbot Lake way. I assume a bait shop is not an essential business, but maybe some one-man shows are open...
Don't worry my residence is on the lake, I have my own launch, and I will be fishing all by my lonesome (well, me and the dog). At my age, and with my knees...I'm safer in the boat, than taking the pooch for a walk down the road.
Yeah, I get slabs all the time on small jigs/plastics under a slip-float, but I find when the water's still really cold nothing beats the real thing.
