After touring around the main body and most of the bays it is clear that Dog Lake is now a jet skier's paradise.
There are no broad leaf water plants anywhere even the shallow bays are free and clear. The lake resembles a large pasture with various shades of green. The added colour should help bring up the lake temperature to a comfortable warm bath state.
Ahhh if I were only a jet skier I would be so happy

I know exactly what ur refering to . My neighbours r a really nice young couple but dont have waterfront so I let them use my land to access the bay or play golf in my yard and let their dog roam and even let their friends pull up on my shore and visit them, until the jet skies started showing up. I had to put a stop to it as my cove is shallow hard bottom and they were killing the weedbeds. There was some real nice cabbage and milfoil patches, note how i said was. I wouldnt even use my motors if possible until i got clear of them. A couple guys from Toronto like to fish it but in the last two years keep asking me were r they weeds? Tried not to be a prick about it and I still let them use the property just no jet skies.
