Launched in Belleville and line in the water trolling over by the red can at trident. The drum kept me busy today with 2 of them turning my planer board into a planer diver with the board completely submerged and diving hard. It wasn't all drum tho, throw in some perch, silver bass and 3 walleye too all just nice eaters. Couldn't use anything with a worm on it with the perch and silver bass so switched to the cc shad. Watier temp was 65 first thing in the morning and warmed up quickly into the low 70's.

Lindy Wally Shad is identical to the CC Shad. Fishing store north of Belleville on 62 has them.

I started using the flicker shad in the Uncle Rico color, if you can find them, these are definitely walleye killers, trolling them with flat line about 80-90 feet back 1.1 mph, crushed them last year, spring, and late july, hope this helps

got out to 'shake these out' last week. Fished them in a 3 rod spread and am happy to say these Lindy shads fish CC shads 50/50. same performance, awesome . Doom off if you haven't stocked up !

Biff,
Good to know. I have a bunch of both kinds but my confidence was in the cc so hadn't really run given the Lindys a real shake down yet

Biff,

I'm with Dan. I believe having confidence in your lure is huge...and CC Shads have been it for me, along with 2 or 3 other lures. I'm sure the flicker shad is good too, and will use them when my CC stock runs dry.

I’m a big fan of cc shads but this year I’ve done better with flicker shads. Confidence is changing :)
