Looks like the shad are In. East end seems loaded with bait pods, trolling bite was non existent today. Few small ones but that’s it. Lots of fish around on the screen but perhaps they are already eating too well. Usual heard of boats at shermans today. 11 at one point

Boys were only getting small ones the last few days at the trailer , all were under 13 inch so tossd back, so many bait balls out there now, best give it a few weeks if your traveling....

was out today, seen lots of bait balls ended up with 4 walleye and 3 drum and 2 perch

They are definitely in. Saw some huge schools on Sunday. One spot I was in they would spook when the line hit the water. Thousands of them at once.

I was in Long Reach around Shermans yesterday and didn't see the huge balls you guys were mentioning.

They were up my way on Long Reach also and in big bunches mostly over deeper water with what I assume were walleye mixed into the bunches, just like BigMac’s screenshot. I tried to follow them and dunked my lure into the mix, felt a few bumps but no luck.
