Hey all!
Just thought I would share my trip report to Deseronto today with a buddy of mine. We went to Sherman's Point for the first time this year.
We launched just after noon, as it had just stopped raining. Weather wise, it was cloudy throughout the entire afternoon, with winds from WSW at approx. 10kts.
We ended up trolling in about 12-15ft of water using bottom bouncers and harnesses tipped nightcrawlers. In just 3 hours, we ended up landing a whopping 13 walleyes. The majority of them were small ones, but we landed 5 keepers over 16 inches including a 21 inch lunker! Also caught two massive freshwater drum (I can't seem to stop catching them this year). The action was unbelievable.
Pics to follow soon.
