A buddy and I went out late Sunday morning to try our luck for some walleye and pike on the Big Lake. Set up trolling various deep diving crankbaits, the wind and waves picked up as the day went on, making it hard to control the boat while trolling, but we stuck it out. Ended up landing one walleye, one pike, a sm bass and a couple sheaphead, plus lost 4 fish battling the wind and waves. Blue seemed to be the hot colour for us. Hoping to get out again soon.
