Quinte Fishing

Decided that the last run of the season should take us to Adolphus Reach for some 4 rod trolling.

Started at 0900 close to Lyons Is and trolled east to the lighthouse, trolling east good, just a slight breeze, we approached the lighthouse, the NE wind blew up a little bit.

Headed across to the Batcave and trolled down wind past Keith's Shoal. Changed lures every 30 mins but never had a touch.

The water was very dirty, not used to seeing that darker water out there, normally, it's so crystal clear. Water temp was 67 degs F.

Finished at 1245 and headed back to Hay Bay.

Took the boat out this AM and getting ready to shut down our Hay Bay operations for the season.

Sorry to hear that the fish did not cooperate on your last trip. We went out past the gap and saw quite a few guides/ charters there. Not sure how they made out. We only managed a pike. Trolled around for a few hours and called it quits. Our next last trip will probably thanksgiving weekend. Best of luck to everyone going out and stay safe.
