Hey guys , was at quinte today and the lunkers were there but they would not take anything. We managed to net one 10 1/2 lb but with the sonar lit up all day i thought it would be a hay day. I only tried cranks of all colors and styles. Half are suspended at 16 ft and half are on bottom. Id like to try once more so any ideas would be great.
Tight lines

The season is just getting going! As water temps get lower the fish eat and more of them are around.

Speed can be a big variable. Usually once temps cool off you slow the troll. Stickbaits are a great option and sometimes they just won’t bite.

Stick with it and it will be rewarding.

They’ve been like this for weeks. Marking lots of fish but nothing is hitting. Running all of the core baits but no action. We had an ok day about 4 weeks ago by Glen Island but nothing since. None of the other boats have been landing fish plus the guides are not doing well either as of last week. Hopefully the big boys will wake up soon.
Keep grinding out there.
