A family of fishing Gurus for sure, great loss. Always liked their educational approach to the shows.

I always appreciated the focus on the education and not the personality. RIP Ron Linder

The fishing world has lost a pioneer and legend. I grew up a subscriber to In-Fisherman, had what I called their encyclopedia of fishing books, videos, and ugly brown hats. Other than my father, I learnt soooo much from the Lidner teachings and other than my father Al Lidner was and still is my fishing hero. What I wouldnt give to spend a day with Al fishing or even talking about fishing. I cant imagine how much Al will miss his older brother. Ron is hunting big Walleye somewhere.
