Hello All

Some great posts.

Just wondering about the winds. I know from the East they bite the least.
If fishing out from the ferry, what direction is the best for boat control. Looking at the weather for next week. Winds seem to be high. 40 to 60k from all directions.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Any wind with a lot of west in it or north east sucks in adolph reach. South is good even In 40kmh winds. North is fine anywhere. There’s always somewhere to hide if you fish inside the ferry.

Keep in mind the ferry ramp is shutdown currently for emergency repairs and there is no dock also.

I was planning to launch a small boat at ferry launch tomorrow morning, any recommendations of a launch nearby since it is closed?

Well it would depend on where you are coming from, ramp in Picton and one at Bath (Finkles park)

There is a lunch at UEL Heritage Centre & Park in Adolphustown. It is at the campsite.
