Launched at Prinyers around 6:50am and started heading west down the gut for a bit then along the north breakline to the lighthouse.

Started with Gold DHJ-14, Purpledescent JDHJ12, Purpledescent Tail dancer and Bandit Deep Walleye in wonderbread - all out with various leads to 2oz snap weights. 1.6 - 1.8mph.

First Fish on at 9:15ish 115fow on gold DHJ-14. Father-in-law reeled in a 6lb 8oz.

20 minutes later it was my turn, on the Purpledescent JDHJ12. 5lb 12oz

Switched the other two lines to gold DHJ and purple JDHJ as well and headed back east with the wind. No takers. Looped back into the wind and at 11:30 father-in-law reeled in his PB and the biggest girl of the day coming in at 10lb 11oz on purple JDHJ12.

4/4 on the day. Perhaps the fish gods knew I had a birthday recently and were feeling relatively generous.

Great to be out there with temps above the freezing mark, for this time of year!

Finally a post with some fish caught, the stench of skunk has been lingering over Adolphus Reach, perhaps this will cause it leave and people can start using their nets and scales.

Thanks for sharing your fishing details.

You lads sure had them dialed in that day! Thanks for the report! Great pictures! It's been pretty slow out there so it's nice to see a success story! I was hoping to come down to the Bay and do some fishing on this day. It was warm and the wind was low but my fishing partners were working and not available to join me. The boats in the barn until next year!

Thanks again for the report! Cheers!

Kevin - that's too bad you couldn't talk anyone into calling in "sick" lol and getting out on the water that day. Fair conditions as you indicated, especially for this time of year.
