Will the Ferry launch be usable on Saturday?

Weather is looking good for Saturday just wondering if the launch will be iced up.
If anybody has any information it would be greatly appreciated

There’s open holes between Thompson and the ferry mostly froze. But looks open just east of the ferry

Launch on Saturday was froze up .

We launched at finkles which is ok if the wind is not blowing too hard from the south(it was)
Water temp was 39 degrees and we caught 4 nice eaters and lost a couple more.
Fish were caught on on reef runners in grey and purples and no snap weight were needed
Finally an ok day after a few tries with only a couple of fish.
I would rather be fishing than shopping on Boxing Day!
