Still thin but getting there. I’ve posted pics from drop box but not sure they’d appear. Photobucket charges now so it’s not free anymore

I’d say you’re more likely to be out in a boat on haybay in the next two weeks than walking on it

I drove by the ferry and church this afternoon. Ferry is wide open with no ice at the ramp. Church had broken up ice along the south shore and into the ramp. Besides that its wide open as far as the eye could see east and west.

She's wide open and not looking good.

Calling for mild weather for the next 2 weeks, need nightly lows of -10 or better.

"Still thin but getting there..."

Maybe not, based on latest 14 Day forecast. Not a single day where the high temp is below Freezing.

It could be mid-January EARLIEST. before safe Ice appears.

Based on Last Summer, and what's been seen since, there's might be a pretty good Summer Season...

...he said HOPEFULLY.

Tried to walk out a bit from my house, didn't get very far... I could still see open water in the distance, just wanted to get to the drop off.
Tonight will help, but judging by what I seen today, still a while away.
Drove by Huff's open water spots everywhere.
