Caught a big walleye and wiper in my area. Also just got back from the bay and got three whitebass mixed in with the walleye. So I was wondering if anyone has caught a wiper out there trolling yet? Here’s the vid of ours https://youtu.be/TvfrGJqjJX4

Taro,

I would talk to MNR and show them the picture, it looks like a striped bass.

I saw the video with you hitting the sand bottom - OOPS.....

I miss my days fishing there! Use to live at the bottom of Liverpool road in early 90,s and fished there regularily. You never no what you might catch and my biggest fish ever was hooked right at the western outflow. Had it on for 45 minutes right at the discharge in my old crestlinef with a large crowd of nuke employees watching. I have landed my fare share of giant fish in my life but never anything like this one. I started applying pressure as everyone thought I was snagged and it just pissed him off and before I new it I was now a mile out in Lake Ontario by myself. Long story short I new I wouldn’t land it but just wanted a glimpse of what I’m sure was a giant sturgeon. I only had 15lb test but eventually straightened the hook as I was getting a little scared of the waves and applied to much presure. I really wanted to see just how big this fish was as he did what ever he wanted and I was helpless. Do miss those days but must admit I do like Kingston better!

I’ve only ever seen one out in the reach near the gap. They’re out there but they are definitely unicorns

Holy cow! I’ve heard they were in there but never seen one yet. Haven’t seen a musky either. But that place is so weird anything is possible!
