Two years in a row I was able to talk my Dad into fishing while down for Xmas. I know lots of guys hoping for ice, but with the lake trout chewing I hope the weather stay this way for a while.Image

Very nice Fish. Where are they hanging out these days? Forecast calls for more mild weather during next two weeks...

Killer job of the lake trout, good to see they are still chewing away. It's killing me that I put my boat away 2 weeks ago.

They are all through the gap off Amherst island and PEC. With the cold water you can get them from 20 to 80 feet through out the water column. Leadcore and riggers, spoons do the trick for me.

Great pics! It's stuff like this that helps me get through the winter.
