First time out....success. Fished 4:15 - 5:15. Weedline close to shore...15'. Past years copper/bronze with orange were the ticket. Tonight nil on that.....but 5 hits on chrome/orange, tipped with 1 minnow of course. Absolutely thrilled to get some !

If you don't mind me asking, what area, don't need specifics, and how was the ice? Hoping to get out soon myself if the conditions stay good. Regards

Across the Bay from Belleville. Not a whole lot of ice....maybe 3-4". But it was solid. I spudded all the way...and wore a float suit ...Ha, AND a life preserver under the jacket.
