Would love to see this as a false alarm, but...
Prayers and hope sent to the angler in need. Rather see a hypothermia report than condolences to the family........

So sad. He was one hell of a fisherman and a great young man. Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

So so terrible. And so young. My daughter knew him though a friend and sent me his name and a pic of him holding up a fine walleye with a huge grin on his face. My wife looked him up on facebook, as wives do, and all I saw was fishing pics. Fishing and hunting. Loads of them. He definitely was a Fisherman. And looks like he was a good one at that!! And in all of the pics it appeared like he was wearing a floater suit. I guess sometimes bad things just happen. I have kids his age and it scares me. I can't imagine the loss. Life is so precious and so fragile. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew him.

They did recover him so at least the family and loved ones have closure on that piece. It's such a tragedy at such a young age.

Indeed he was into Quinte Fishing. I wonder...did he have any input on this site or contribute to the message boards? Such a dedicated young man to fishing and hunting and like Dan said, at least the family has closure as they recovered his body. Rest easy young buddy.
