Back out this morning but in a different area. No perch and went 2/4. Biggest fish was a super aggressive 5.5lber. Chased my bait from 16 ft all the way up to 6ft then it bit. Had it on for a couple turns of the reel then nothing. Dropped the bait back down and it came right back but same thing, it bit and on for a moment then gone. On the third drop it swallowed it. It bit a shiver minnow. Ice was about.the same as last night. There were huts out there everywhere. I stopped counting after 40.
