Fished end of day just east of the sunken cable on the Reach. Went two for three, the two being 16.5 and 18 inches. All the bites were in that typical window from 4:45 to 5:15.

Perfect eaters, congrats.

Only time I hit the bay is for that evening fish, action is usually fast and consistent.

Thanks for report and pics.

Yes, same for me. Rarely fish other than the dusk time slot. Except this year... thanks to Covid lockdown. Not much else going on so... hit the ice! Went to Hay Bay out from the Old Church four consecutive days Sunday to yesterday, twice in pm, twice in am... slammed the perch. Lol! And that seemed to be the story for everyone out there. Glad I switched it up yesterday. Fished on 4" of black ice where I was; prob ~100 yards from shore.... in 24 ft of water. And, to my surprise... I saw four 4-wheelers go out.... way out, to the middle. One was south west of me, pretty much on the cable, the other three were the other way north-east, quite a ways from me. I was quite surprised to bikes out there. And looking waaay down to Huff's.... there were a lot of huts out there.

Congrats on the success. Really appreciate the ice report and the conditions.

How much snow is there on the ice around the Huffs area? Thinking today may be a good day for my maiden voyage.

Just a skiff at the cable, betting Huffs would be much the same.
