Quinte Fishing

Has anybody been catching or are the walleye on covid lockdown as well. Marked about 8 fish , but they did not commit. 5 inches of ice, over 80 pop ups counted.
Funny thing I notice, even in the middle and beyond the channel their seemed to be no current. Line was straight up and down the hole time, strange.

On Friday afternoon bite I had one of two commit but lost him half way up to the hole.

We were just down the reach a bit at the cable in 24’. We went 6/10. One big broke the braided line at hookset. Not 100% what it was but massive. All fish between 2-7 pounds
