I have a question. I have always just used just champs, swedish pimples, deadly dicks etc tipped with minnows. Old school stuff.
When you you use lures like Rapala jigging rap and Rattlin rap (swim baits I think you call them) for walleye through the ice, do you tip them with anything? Minnow? A minnow head? Scent? And what about a vibrato?

I don’t use bait on rippin and jigging raps. My fishing buddies use minnow heads. We caught about the same amount Saturday. So who knows.
