Just wanted to update you on today's ice conditions in Deseronto. Fished this afternoon on 21 FOW just south west of the boat ramp towards Forresters. Ice there was a solid 5 inches. Other anglers just east of me told me they were on about 3 inches of ice there.
Although I live in Deseronto, I have not fished here since 2 years ago as the ice was sketchy and not safe last 2 years.
Had a couple of lookers but only managed a perch in 4 hours of fishing... horrible! I used to catch my limit in under 2 hours in the past. Not sure where all the fish are...maybe they were told to stay away from lures or they will get COVID?
