Don't know where my head was but decided to switch it up and for go lake trout. Get out on the ice drill a hole and reach for my flasher and wait what...its not here. It was sitting on the shop bench charging right where I left it.

Cheesies Dan-O, you're too young to be doing that stuff.

Tried a similar stunt this afternoon, but... didn't get quite as far.

Left the Truck Keys on the Work Bench, duh!~

I don't have a flasher. I don't know what would be worse, not knowing if there is a fish down there to bite or knowing there is a fish down there not bitting.lol.

I did that just the other week...told the wife I was going to be gone for a good chunk of time.
Got everything all set up - and the battery on my flasher was dead.
I thought to myself about how it would be like old times and I would just have to make do - but I couldn't do it. 5 minutes later I packed up everything.

Positive note though - wife was happy to see me back so early. So that was a plus

I did that four yrs ago and was ready to drive back home, 100 kms. decided to rough it out. Caught my first laker on Lobo that day using my Navionics on the phone.
