For those of us who have been around long enough you will remember board member and charter captain Joe Pickstock. He seemed to be doing great but behind the scenes got caught up in fraud and arson. Last week he was sentenced and here is the news link

It is...

I met Joe a few times and bought one of his old boats.

Seemed like a great guy and either way, it's too bad that something must have changed for him to do this.

An old Bayliner Bass Trophy...loved the old tug.

I had some issues with it and Joe was always willing and available to discuss and help me out.

It was my first bass boat style and have upgraded a few times since.

Quinte West's infamous prodigal sons' next chapter begins. Happy trails Champ!!!!

Edit; Just got off the phone with QuinteNews and asked if now would finally be a good time to do something about the highway billboards that still Don his image.

Might also be a good time for those in the know to reach out to whomever and nominate Scott to represent the many good people in your region. Just a thought.

It is incumbent on YOU, The Locals to pump up Scott's tires by getting on the phone or a website and make a case.
Stay safe everyone .

Well, to be truthful I like Scott and have had good interaction with him the few times that we met, a good guy and knows his stuff.
As far as the billboards are concerned I feel it would be better with a person like David Delcloo aka Superdad, always positive and always family. Scott is good yet he is very business involved.

Now on to Mr Pitstock, Joe I have only met you 2x's and hope you can get your crap together, inside is a hard place to fish from and life is harder on the non-visiting side of the fencing. Crap happens and sometimes it is hard to reason, so get yourself straightened out and on this side of the fence.

Let’s keep Joe on the billboard. After all, sometimes the fishing on the bay of Quinty is absolutely on fire.

Good morning folks. Hoping all are staying safe and doing well. Made our way up to the cottage this wknd and rolling along the 4Nothing1 both going and coming back home I didn't notice the Fire Bug's Mug on any billboards. Just wondering if anyone out there can confirm the "Fire" has been extinguished?
