Well, we took off Sat at 1100 and headed over the Old Church area. We were trolling with the Trolling bags off the stern ( which are a pain in the butt) and my wife - PerfectlyPat hit a 19.5" on an Uzick and my Dad hit a 15.5" on an Uzick.

When I was cleaning the fish at the Bayview Resort cleaning hut, there were a bunch of fishers who had stringers of fish that they had caught on the Uzick Spinners that they acquired at Bayview Resort. They were getting the fish in 6 feet of water.

Sunday, we went out early (0730) for a couple of hours and PerfectlyPat hit a 20.5" on an Uzick close to the Old CHurch Ramp. Didn't fish anymore that day.

Monday - June 6th- Was out to fish with Ohio Joe and Wilton Bill on Joe's boat. Headed up Long Reach aiming for the river, but we could sidetracked and fished around Green Point and Forrester IS. the wind was blowing BIG TIME- with 3 and 4 footer in the Reach, a bit better in the lee of the west shore.

We landed six different species, hit a total of nine walleyes and retained 5 from 15 to 19 Inches. We had fun going back down Long Reach and again in Hay Bay crossing the waves, Boy did we get a tad damp. :D

It was a good day and we had some fish landed - I landed my first walleye of the year on Monday. Broke the ice, NOW, have to get one off Superdad.

Back next weekend, to work on the Superdad, installing new electronics.

The fish are there, it's a question of finding them getting the lure in front of them.
