With bass being catch and release until may once the ice goes out would like to go out and try. Anyone have an ideas of where to start after ice out? Anyone catch any bass through the ice out there this winter?

I have never caught bass over the years through the ice on Quinte. We did however catch largemouth quite often the few times we fished East Lake same location we caught walleye.

I will too be out fishing bass. For us this is new. But what I read and watch. That water starts to get to 45 degree. Look for your main coves that produce lots of sun and wind cover. And flats And of course if you can find green weeds

Can't find this change re targeting bass before June. Can someone point me in the direction of the relevant regulation.
Not sure about how I feel about it....always felt we shouldn't pull spawning bass off of the nests....

Red shad,
Here's the link to the orginal post. No worries no one will be legally pulling bass from beds. The MNR has made big regs changes
