So, with the season opens on May 1st, will it be a post spawn or pre spawn conditions? what's your thought's.

If the weather stays warm, the water will warm and they (walleyes) will spawn in 43 -47 Degs F water.

If things are like the past number of years and the water temp is over 50 Degs F, it will tell you the bait to use.

The higher the water temp will have meant the spawn happened before the 1st of May and that should mean the big ladies will be high tailing it for the Big Lake.
